Before coming to AFIT, I was frustrated about the hands I was dealt with my previous flight training experience, I came in with 50 hours flown before covid. I could see it being a frustrating style if you have a large ego or zero self confidence but honestly I am not sure those people should be trying to learn everything in 2 weeks. One of the great things was that Paul showed me how make all my calculations manually, but wasnt anti-technology; he showed me the neat features of the apps I paid for! I was blessed to have such a personable and dedicated instructor. Question must be answered correctly when you enter. It made it 10X more fun for me and all I wanted to do throughout the course was ask more questions because I love learning and loved the way he explained things. He walked me through every detail that was demanded of me for the Private Pilot Certificate and ultimately did it in both a professional and light hearted way.
